To care for Birkenstocks, regularly brush off dirt and dust, use a designated Footbed & Shoe Cleaner for the footbed, and protect the upper with a water- and stain-repellent spray. For oiled leather, apply a Leather Conditioner to keep it supple, and for cork, apply a Cork Sealer to maintain its integrity. Always allow your Birkenstocks to dry naturally away from direct heat or sunlight.

1. Open the strap(s) and step into the footbed. Be sure to have several millimetres of room for your heels and toes.
2. Close the strap(s) comfortably around your feet. Leave enough room to allow your feet freedom of movement when you are walking
3. Take a few steps in them (on carpet). If your feet can move freely when you are in motion and they do not hit the footbed edge, you have the correct size!

Cork footbeds or EVA soles can be damaged by exposure to concentrated heat. Do not leave your footwear in direct sunlight or in closed cars on warm days. If your footwear becomes wet, allow it to air dry slowly, away from direct heat.
